Notice is hereby given that NORTHWEST COLLEGE will receive sealed bids until 2:00 P.M., local time, April 11, 2024, at Physical Plant Office, 839 Road 9 ½, Powell, Wyoming for materials, labor, services, transportation, and complete construction of NORTH CABRE PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION. Mail or deliver bids to Northwest College, 231 West Sixth Street, Powell, WY, 82435, Attention Deb Jacobs. NORTHWEST COLLEGE will take no responsibility for delivery of bids through mail. All bids publicly opened and read aloud - date and time stated above. Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will range from $400,000 to $500,000. Complete digital copies of the bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com and at www.eaengineers.com under PROJECTS OUT TO BID. Prospective Bidders will be required to register with the website to download the bidding documents for $25 by inputting Quest project #9007112 on the website’s project search page. Optional paper copies of bidding documents are available at: Engineering Associates, 130 NORTH BENT STREET POWELL, WY 82435 for $100 non-refundable. Northwest College reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. No bid may be considered unless accompanied by the required bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount, which amount shall be forfeited if the bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into a Contract with the Owner.
Successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in an amount of at least 100% of awarded contract price. A Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M., local time, on March 27, 2024, at NWC Physical Plant building, 839 Road 9 ½, Powell, Wyoming. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference. To qualify as attending, Bidders must arrive and sign in within 10 minutes of the start of Pre-bid Conference. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state”.
