Cooler weather begins to creep in but the Good Old Boys continued to hit the fairways on Sept. 12.
The game of choice was two best ball, where a four man team uses their two best net balls for their best score.
In first place was the team of Paul Devoss, Bob Mason, Bob Varian and Lloyd Snyder with a 132.
Just one stroke behind in second place was Dave Frost, Marc Saylor, Ray Nelson and a blind draw of Thom Seliga.
One stroke separated second and third, where two teams tied with a 134.
Those teams were Case Seago, Dennis McCollum, Todd Smith and Clark Jeffs alongside Gerry Johns, Rhett Wolff, Steve Burtoft and Seliga.
Rounding out the team scores were Ed Swistak, Don Hardy, Joe Comer and Tom Bibbey with a 138.
Three deuces were carded — Johns and Comer each had one on No. 4 and Jeffs had one on No. 14.
The low net went to Devoss with a 70 and the low gross was a tie between Jeffs and Hardy with an 80.
