Wooden faces additional charges after leaving the scene

Posted

Joseph Wooden, a local man with several pending charges, pleaded not guilty to a few new ones Friday, including misdemeanor charges of leaving the scene of an accident and careless driving.

Wooden, who allegedly left the scene of a vehicular accident in September, has several charges pending against him including a felony probation revocation which has been stayed “until the completion of the underlying charges pending in the Park County Circuit Court.”

Wooden was granted probationary terms in 2021 that would have dismissed his deferred felony conviction of possession of marijuana if he successfully completed his 18 months of unsupervised probation.

Wooden was released on a $1,000 signature bond for his latest misdemeanor charges, with his next appearance scheduled for Feb. 22, 2023.

No further information is currently available regarding the status of Wooden’s probation revocation.
