On May 25, 2022, Tomas Chance Davison, 32, was called to the other side because his job here was done.

Chance was born Oct. 27, 1989, 15 minutes after his twin brother, to Nancy and Tomas Davison in Powell.

He was a smart, happy and talented child. As he grew up, he found his passion in playing guitar, video games and hanging out with friends. His early years were mostly spent in Gillette, Wyoming, where he excelled in school.

Outside of school he played soccer and loved playing music. As a teen, the family moved back to Powell, where he worked to help his family on their farm, continued his practice with music, and enjoying life as any teen would with his friends. He traveled all over the state doing different trade jobs, loving being somewhere new every few days, and learning something new in the change of location. He loved spending time in the lesser known parts of northern Wyoming and southern Montana.

Chance became a father on Feb. 25, 2009. He instantly fell in love with being a father. He loved all kids, and they loved him.

As an adult, he went to college for music, beta tested, and focused on being a father. He was always knowledgeable about the newest tech and video games. His biggest passion was always music. We will remember him most by his genuinely full laugh. We will miss hearing it echo through the house. He was loved by all.

Chance is survived by his parents, Nancy and Tomas; his son, Hayden; his best friend and mother of his child, Shannea; his siblings: Heidi (Mike), Kacey (Terri), Liz (Bob), twin brother Colter (Alexis), and Brittany; his many nieces and nephews: Tyler, Shelby, Shaynee, Colby (Paige), Gavin, JaciLynn, Jackson, Corbin, Jesse, and Zayn; great-nephew Matthew; his uncles, Mitch and Jay (Linda); his wife Krystal; his stepson Nathan; his companion Brittney; and his eight cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, (maternal) Glen and Nita, and (paternal) Duane and Sylvia; his aunts and uncle, Carolyn and Mike and Joni; and his cousin; Josh.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 4 p.m., at the Elks Lodge in Powell. There will be no procession to the cemetery.
