November finds Park County Libraries filled with activities for everyone.

The Powell Library is ready to provide everyone with books, audio books and movies to enjoy as we enter the holiday season, along with fun programs for all. Make sure and stop by and check out “The Butterfly Series” Traveling Exhibit.

For the kids, join Ms. Renee at Baby and Toddler Time every Monday and Thursday from 10:30-11 a.m. Bring the little ones for nursery rhymes, songs, play and early literacy activities. Ms. Renee also does a fabulous Storytime every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30-11 a.m. Stop by for wonderful stories, movement, craft and fun.

The Powell Library is happy to have the Homesteader Museum Traveling Trunk Program visit on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 3:30 p.m. Please sign up to enjoy this fun program to explore local farming artifacts, learn about our past and do a fun craft.

Kids can sign up to Read to a Dog on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 3:30 p.m. This is a wonderful chance for kids to practice reading to the best kind of listener.

Lego Club for grades K-5 grades will be Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

To kick off the holiday season, kids can come on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. for Turkey Day Crafts. Sign ups are needed for this program.

The Powell Library is offering an Afternoon Book Discussion Group on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. and will be discussing “The Four Winds.” The Evening Book Discussion Group will be discussing “The Library Book” on Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book.

Adult Craft Program this month will be watercolor rubbing art. Join us Monday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m.

Throughout the month of November, stop by the library and help decorate for Thanksgiving by writing down what you are thankful for and adding it to our Thankful Tree.

As always, stop by on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. for the Friends Book Sale.

Remember all Park County Libraries will be closed today (Tuesday) for staff Development, Thursday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day, and Thursday, Nov. 25 thru Sunday, Nov. 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
