As part of National Donate Life Month in April, organizers have encouraged residents to show their heart by performing an act of kindness.
“Organ, eye and tissue donation is the ultimate act of kindness and generosity,” said Donate Life Wyoming leaders.
Wyoming is sixth in the nation when it comes to signing up to be a donor, according to the nonprofit.
Share your act of kindness with friends and followers on Facebook with #ShowYourHeart and tag DonateLifeWyoming to get a code for a free coffee.
“Now more than ever, we need acts of kindness, small and large, to remind us that we are all connected,” said Patricia Thomas of Powell, whose daughter was a donor. “While we’re all working to stay together while we’re apart, there are still plenty of things we can do to support neighbors and friends from a safe distance.”
