Lenten series to conclude with fifth concert

This year’s Lenten-Concert Series will end at noon on Wednesday, March 20 in the Union Presbyterian Church with a performance from the Parkside School Kids Choir. This week’s menu features three soups: butternut squash (contains coconut milk), cheeseburger and beefy tomato. Bread options will include farmhouse, Hawaiian and sourdough.

There is no charge for the event but free will donations can be given at the door. All proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for Powell’s elementary schools to use for students as needed.
