Dear Editor:

I would like to comment on the case of “alleged” health care fraud and health care conspiracy recently announced against the Northwest Wyoming Treatment Center, and in particular one of the alleged conspirators ... Devin Dutson.

I have personally known Devin, as well as his entire immediate and extended family for over 10 years. Devin, his wife and kids, as well as his entire extended family are the most outstanding citizens, patriots and God-fearing people that you would ever want to meet. The entire Dutson family has always taken seriously their Christian faith. While, as Christians, we are called to honor God’s laws, we also all recognize and respect the civil and criminal laws of these United States. Devin Dutson and his entire family are no exception to this!

If you have ever had to deal with state and local government requirements regarding Medicaid billing procedures and regulations; at best the rules and regulations are convoluted ... at worst, they are a “hot mess!”

While I do not obviously know any of the details of these charges, nor do I know anything about the other two individuals charged, I do know Devin Dutson and his entire family well enough to know that there is NO WAY that he would ever intentionally mislead, falsify or defraud anyone.

The federal government does not exactly have a stellar record when it comes to handling Medicaid records, billings, etc. My faith is in Devin, the Dutson family and their Christian faith ... not the government, at least not in this kind of a case. I SUPPORT DEVIN DUTSON!
