David Leroy Splitstone was born in Orville, California on June 2, 1950.
David’s family moved to Powell, Wyoming, allowing David to attend grades one-12 in Powell. In high school, David participated in track and field, earning ribbons and medals.
When David was a senior in high school he married Julie and enlisted in the military, serving 10 years. David and Julie were married five years before they divorced.
After the Army, David moved to California where he met and married Chris Kowalski and got an associate degree in automotive. He also wandered an associate degree in farm equipment.
David and Chris were married 40 years before he succumbed to cancer on Jan. 18, 2024.
David was preceded in death by his stepson, Stan Tow, and his stepdaughter, Melody Tow.
David is survived by his wife, Chris; stepdaughter Wendy Brunner; mother Wilma Splitstone, brothers Nathan (Violet) Splitstone, Timothy (Cindy Splitstone; grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
