A grizzly bear forages inside the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE). When the predators run into conflicts, wildlife managers will attempt to move them to new habitat, giving them a chance at a new life. Eight grizzlies have been removed from the ecosystem so far this year for receiving food rewards or feeding on livestock. There are about 1,000 grizzlies in the GYE, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
