Ratcliff, Graham named to All-Star basketball team

Zach Ratcliff and Toran Graham continue to add to their post-graduate honors, earning spots on the Wyoming Coaches Association’s All-Star basketball team for the North-South All-Star game this upcoming weekend in Casper.

Ratcliff and Graham were both starters for the Panthers this past season, when Powell won the 3A West Regional Tournament, made it back to the state tournament and advanced to the third-place game.

Both players were named to the 3A West All-Conference team after Ratcliff averaged 9.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in the backcourt and Graham averaged 8.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting 60% from the field.

This is the second postseason team that both players have been named to — both players were also named to the 2022 Shrine Bowl team and played together in June.

Powell is the only team that had multiple players named to the team, and was one of three 3A teams that had a player named on the North team.

The pair went down to Casper on Wednesday to take part in events leading up to the game, which will be played on Saturday at Casper College.

This year’s teams will enjoy added festivities, participating in the Union Wireless Community Awareness Event. The teams will visit Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics, and/or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Casper to meet and interact with the groups.

The girls’ volleyball game is scheduled for 1 p.m. followed by girls’ basketball at 3 p.m. and boys’ basketball will be at 5 p.m.
