Powell Christian School’s students performed some Christmas classics to an audience at Grace Point on Dec. 3.
Christy Muecke’s 19 kindergarten through second grade students presented an enchanting version of “The Little Christmas Tree” complete with a boisterous choir and audience participation. The students also played handbells of two well known Christmas carols.
Teacher Annie’s 12 third through sixth grade students read Luke 2:1-20, “A Christmas Story” and played handbells to three carols.
Not to be outdone, the seven students in seventh through ninth grade sang a parody of the “Twelve Days of Christmas” titled “What My Teacher Said to Me.”
To close the concert, eight Powell Christian School teachers again parodied the “Twelve Days of Christmas” by singing “What My Students Said to Me.”
