Big Horn Freedom Quest will be raising awareness and funds on behalf of Operation Underground Railroad, an organization that rescues children from sex trafficking and exploitation, from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lovell Fire House.
The organization works with law enforcement to rescue exploited children as well as help with after care and reassimilation.
O.U.R.’s Director of Global Operations will be attending virtually to speak and answer questions of the attendees. The event will feature food trucks, a raffle, and a silent and live auction. Auction items include power tools, guns, wall art, certificates for a free massage, grooming product gift baskets, a Pit Boss pellet grill, automotive service gift cards, one free year of pest control, free HVAC services and other items.
“I know there are a lot of things that occupy our time, people are busy, and there are a bunch of good causes out there, but if you let your mind dwell on the subject matter for a little bit I think good people can’t help but to be moved to do something about it,” organizer Jacob Haslem said in a press release. “This cause is worth a few hours of time and those who make the time to come will be happy they did. I guarantee it. So, to everyone that we can reach, I ask, please come and support this event.”
