(Feb. 5, 1933 - March 25, 2009)Wanda June Cotterell died March 25 at her home in Powell. June was born on Feb. 5, 1933 in Vernon, Texas, the daughter of J.L. and Beulah (Ross) Roeder. After high school, she studied computer programming.She married Donald L. Cotterell on April 4, 1953 in Olney, Ill. The couple lived in southern Illinois before moving to Cody in 1969, where June worked as a computer programmer. They relocated to Powell in 1988.June was a member of First Baptist Church, and she babysat for the Awana Club for many years. She loved her yard work, crocheting and being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Jim Cotterell (Leah) of Powell; daughter Cindy Toland (Greg) of Powell; brother J.D. Roeder (Betty) of Shidler, Okla.; sisters Jo Berkshire (Phillip) of Cody and Loreen Babcock of Broken Arrow, Okla; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Willis and Carlis and sisters, Louise and Myrl.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Memorials can be sent to Caring for Powell Animals, P.O. Box 504, Powell.

She married Donald L. Cotterell on April 4, 1953 in Olney, Ill. The couple lived in southern Illinois before moving to Cody in 1969, where June worked as a computer programmer. They relocated to Powell in 1988.

June was a member of First Baptist Church, and she babysat for the Awana Club for many years. She loved her yard work, crocheting and being with her grandchildren.
