Dear Editor:
I don’t know if this warrants a letter to the editor or not, but I was impressed. I live on a low-traffic dead-end street, so I normally don’t get Halloween trick or treat kids. So, I gave a big bag of goodies to the church to pass out on the downtown going’s on.
I left my light off at the house, but I heard some kids outside deciding if they should ring my doorbell or not. They did and I informed them I put candy downtown and didn’t have any at my house. These boys and girls were probably middle school age. They were all very nice and took the news in good favor. They were all smiles, waving and wished me a happy Halloween, candy or not.
I was very impressed with their behavior and wanted to share their actions with you! I am very proud of how nice these kids acted. I’m sure their parents would be, too!
