Dear editor:
In a recent family tribute to Cy Muecke in the Powell Tribune, I also would like to honor and remember him as a friend and coworker.
I carpooled with Cy, Manny Ibarra, Albert Montoya, Jim Cunningham and Kris Jensen from Powell to Cody and on to our work in the Oregon Basin Field for Marathon Oil Company from August, 1983 to December, 1995. I was transferred to the newly acquired Frannie Field.
Cy was the glue that held us together, as we shared laughter, jokes, stories and sometimes a quiet ride home after a hard day’s work. I will always be grateful to Cy for his friendship, knowledge, advice and solid work ethis.
May he rest in peace, as we honor our good friend. Thanks for all the good memories and fun times on the road together!
Joe White
