The driver in the fatal one-vehicle crash near Ralston on August 12 is unknown. Previous Tribune stories, based upon a press release issued by Sgt. Steven Townsend of the Wyoming Highway Patrol, had identified Misty D. Walbert, 28, of Cody, as the driver of the vehicle. However, Lt. Phil Farman with the Wyoming Highway Patrol says that the driver is unknown and that the press release was inaccurate."We're still trying to determine who the driver is," Farman said. The truck's other occupant, Gerald D. Brown, 43, also of Cody, died en route to medical care in Billings. Walbert's grandmother, Sandra Walbert, said Misty has not regained consciousness and is in critical condition at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings. The vehicle had been nearing the train tracks outside of Ralston when it swerved and rolled down the embankment on the right-hand side of the road.Further details and necessary corrections will appear in Tuesday's Tribune.
