Powell students advance to state science fair

Kodee Asay and Kate Miller, seventh-graders at Powell Middle School, talk about their project on questionable outfits, which looked at whether people respond differently to the same questions asked by people wearing different clothes. They placed second at the regional science fair held at Northwest College. Sixteen Powell Middle School students advanced to the state science fair, which will be held next week in Laramie.

Sixteen Powell Middle School students qualified to compete at the Wyoming State Science Fair, which takes place from Sunday through Tuesday in Laramie.

The following Powell students placed in a variety of categories at the Northern Junior Regional Science Fair, held at Northwest College last month:
