Following Northwest College’s 48th annual Showalter Festival on Feb. 4, three students from Powell Middle School and three other students in the Big Horn Basin were graded as outstanding performers according to Zach Paris, NWC assistant professor of music.
From Powell, Hayden and Taylor Peters received an outstanding performance alongside Anika Anderson and area students Grady Henly, Chase Frescoln and Jillian Nordberg out of 203 performances throughout the day from 13 schools and studios.
From Powell Middle School there were 37 performances and of these performances 29 received the superior rating and eight received a good rating.
