Pauline Barnett, long-time resident of Powell, died peacefully at her home in Clifton, Colo., on Sunday, Oct. 6.

She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in Wauneta, Neb., the seventh of eight children born to Della and Kearn Doolin.

She is survived by four daughters and one son, Doris Mathews Tennant of Clifton, Colo., Neree Mathews Barrett of Kaysville, Utah, Jo Sage Hanson, Wanda Sage McCollum and Tom Sage, all of Powell; one sister, Lucille Potter of Idaho; four sons-in-law and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six siblings; one daughter, Gerry Sage Allen of Adrian, Mo.; and three husbands, Raymond Mathews, Ernest Sage and Charles Barnett.

Graveside services were conducted Oct. 11 in Baggs, where she was laid to rest beside her parents. She will be truly missed.
