Owners of Running Horse Realty sell to longtime agent

Running Horse Realty is under new ownership and in a new main location, but many of the faces and the mission of the company are staying the same.

Eric, Luanne and daughter Erica Loloff sold the company, started in Powell, to Running Horse Realty agent Cliff Alexander, a longtime Wyoming realtor, effective Jan. 1.

Erica Loloff said she’s going to stay on in the same capacity she worked in before, managing the office and providing marketing services, while her father Eric Loloff is maintaining his Montana license to be able to still do sales and referrals.

With Alexander being a Burlington resident, Erica said it made sense for the company to close its Powell office earlier this year and make its Greybull location, in the Mead Building on the main street in a renovated building, the sole location.

“But we travel, we cover all of Park County, Big Horn, Hot Springs, Washakie,” she said. “We can sell anywhere in Wyoming and all of us travel Greybull, Powell, Cody every week.”

Eric and Luanne Loloff started Running Horse Realty in Powell in 2004, eventually expanding to add an office in Greybull. Erica joined the family business in 2006 and became licensed in 2011.

Alexander joined the company last year and has nearly 30 years of real estate experience.

The Wyoming native has a master's degree and has done extensive travel abroad. He has worked in construction, was the director of Northwest College's Learning Center, a certified police officer, fire fighter, EMT and emergency response instructor, chief of police and director of public safety.

Alexander is involved in many local organizations from church to realty boards to Big Horn County Planning & Zoning, Chairman of Big Horn County Fire District #4 and is a volunteer for hunter safety.

In addition to Erica Loloff and Alexander, agent Max Gifford is also still with the company, which is looking for seasoned or new agents.
