South Carolina resident Rehiem Williamson, who is charged with second degree rape in Lauderdale County, Alabama, was arrested in Cody on Wednesday on an extradition warrant.
According to Lieutenant Horton of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department, the warrant for Williamson was issued on June 7, 2022.
On Friday, Judge Joseph E. Darrah set a $20,000 cash or surety bond. Because Williamson chose not to sign the extradition waiver, he is set to appear in court on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. for an extradition hearing.
