(April 24, 1939 - May 29, 2010)Kathryn “Susy” Elaine Koltes died of medical complications in Billings on May 29, 2010.
She was born on April 24, 1939, to Madeleen and W.P. Whisenant in Dallas, N.C.
She met the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Koltes, and they were married on Feb. 23, 1960, in Jackson Hole. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
Kathryn and Chuck had two children, Lance and April, who were born years apart. She loved them both dearly.
She enjoyed traveling, especially to Arizona, where she loved to visit Tombstone. She had a great love for animals and always had a “pal” by her side.
Kathryn and Chuck had resided in the Lovell-Powell area since 1974. Although she received her cosmetology license, Kathryn chose to be a homemaker for her family.
She will be remembered for her smile and contagious laughter.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Chuck; son Lance Koltes; daughter April Holman; grandchildren Amanda, Richard, Billy, Branden and Kadence-Elaine Holman, Casey Lesher and Preston, Kristen and Shannon Koltes; and a great-grandson, Myles Holman.
Cremation has taken place, and the family has decided to have no services. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 882, Cody, WY 82414.
