(Jan. 21, 1967 - March 30, 2003) Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Powell for Johnny Padilla, 36, who died Sunday, March 30 in Powell.Mr. Padilla was born Jan. 21, 1967, in Powell to Johnny and Maria Garcia. He will be remembered as a wonderful father to his children and a hard worker who enjoyed working with his hands. He loved his family.Survivors include his wife, Jenny Rebecca Padilla of Powell; a son, Christopher John Padilla of Powell; three daughters, Callie JoAnn and Chelsea Lynn Padilla of Powell and Ashley Padilla of Illinois; a brother, James Brady and his wife Karie of Powell ; a sister, Anna Owens and her husband Troy of Powell; and grandmother Maria Carrizales. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Johnny Padilla Jr.; and a sister, Tomie Waddell.Cremation has taken place.
