Jeff was a resident of the world living in many countries during his lifetime before retiring to his log home in central Oregon. He was an Eagle Scout, accomplished skier and volunteer ski instructor, Little League baseball umpire, volunteer EMT and rescue scuba diver. He always admitted to being an overachiever. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife and grandchildren as well as volunteering in his community, serving on the board of directors for 10-plus years.

During his engineering career he was most appreciated for his knack at problem solving and his people skills which earned him many prestigious awards within the petroleum industry community.

Since his retirement in 2014, he enjoyed traveling in his motor home with his grandchildren, showing them the wonders of the western U.S. In addition he loved attending the annual Border War football games between his beloved University of Wyoming and Colorado State with his children and his buddies from high school. GO WYO!

He will be missed by so many people.

A private celebration of life will be held in the family home over Christmas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society because let’s face it, cancer just sucks!
