Royal West Amusements provided the carnival again this year, offering a variety of rides and carnival games to fairgoers. Fewer people attended the fair this year, but the grandstand events still attracted big crowds. Numbers are not official yet, but Fair Manager Steve Scott said attendance was down slightly this year. "Money is a little tighter this year," Scott said. "Last year was the best year we ever had. The dollar is just a little harder to come by than it was." Tribune photo by Don Amend
