After nearly two decades without an opponent, Park County Attorney Bryan A. Skoric will face Leda M. Pojman in the upcoming 2022 election.
Pojman (R) announced she will file to run for Park County Attorney on May 12, the first day of filing for those wishing to run in local elections.
Skoric was appointed to the county attorney position in February 2003 by Park County commissioners at the time.
Pojman’s filing is the first time Skoric will face an opponent during elections as county attorney.
Pojman, a Wyoming native and a Park County attorney, has 20 years of experience. She pursued law and a career as a prosecutor to follow her passion for helping others and for justice, she stated in a press release, noting Park County “deserves a fresh new face after 19 years of the status quo.”
Pojman said she will be a strong, effective leader dedicated to impartial justice for all citizens of Park County.
“When elected I will pour my heart and soul into serving and protecting the entire community with courtesy and professionalism,” Pojman stated.
