Clifford D. Rassler

(May 30, 1945 - June 2, 2010)Clifford D. Rassler, 65, died June 2 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Clifford was born May 30, 1945, in Billings to Lydia and Bill Rassler.

He grew up in Powell, graduating from Powell High School in 1963. He then received an associate degree from Northwest College in Powell.

Clifford's career took him first to Thermopolis, where he worked as a night auditor at the Holiday Inn, then to Evanston, where he worked in accounts payable for the Wyoming State Hospital. He retired from the State of Wyoming in 1993.

Following his retirement, Clifford worked part-time for Mountain Regional Services, Inc. in Evanston.

Clifford treasured his “Evanston Family,” the co-workers, business partners and breakfast buddies who he says kept him on his toes, made him laugh and continually surprised him with their kindness.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia and Bill Rassler.

Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory in Cheyenne, and Clifford's ashes will be spread near Powell.
