Posted

Mary Oechsner, a retired United State Fish and Wildlife Service biologist, will offer a special presentation on the osprey, from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Buffalo Bill State Park’s Shreve Lodge.

Oechsner’s program will include a Powerpoint presentation on the magnificent birds plus a viewing of an active osprey nest near the lodge. Both male and female ospreys have arrived and are sitting on the nest. Other birds of prey in the area include great horned owls and their nest.

This osprey presentation has become an annual offering by Buffalo Bill State Park and has been highly popular in the past.

Day use fees apply to attend this event; Buffalo Bill State Park thanks attendees for their support.
