A community vigil is being held 6 p.m. Friday in Cody for prayer, remembrance and support for the family of Sheridan Sgt. Nevada Krinkee, who was shot and killed in the line of duty Feb. 13.
He left behind his wife, Cpl. Karla Krinkee, and their infant daughter.
The vigil at the City Park bandshell will include a message from Police Chaplain Warren Murphy. All funds collected will be forwarded to the family. Checks should be made out to Karla Krinkee.
