This year’s Lenten-Concert Series will continue at noon on Wednesday, March 6 in the Union Presbyterian Church with a performance from the Chesarek Handbell Choir and some delicious homemade soups and breads.
The choir is made up of Cassidy Acton, Joy Bessler, Barb Fulton, Teresa Miller, Sharon Earhart, Janie Faxon, Vicki Dicks, Susan Adams-Trembath, Sheri Gifford, Sandy Thiel, Linda Learned and director Linda Murray.
The menu for the day includes chicken noodle, Tuscan or zucchini cheese soup, alongside wild rice bread, Ezekiel, or another choice that had not been determined by press time.
There is no charge for the event but free will donations can be given at the door. All proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for Powell’s elementary schools to use for students as needed.
