Glen “Cecil” Fish Jr., 78, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at his residence in Cody.

Glen “Cecil” Fish, Jr., the son of Glen and Maude (Stevenson) Fish was born Dec. 31, 1932 in Cody.

Cecil loved to fish and his boat was always a prized possession.

Betty and Cecil joined the Big Horn Basin Boat Club in the ‘80s when it moved to the South Fork. He used his equipment to level the entire area, dig the utility ditches, and grade the roads. He also helped with building the boat ramp. He was great at catching walleye and often had fish fries for his entire family.

Cecil was an avid football fan and listened every week to the Wyoming Cowboys. In the professional ranks, he always rooted for the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers.

Friends and family remember Cecil as an avid storyteller with fishing and sports as his favorite topics.
