Harold C. Hilton, 74 years and 9 months, died at the Powell Valley Hospital on Monday, June 13, 2011.
Harold was born on Sept. 7, 1936 in Manheim, Lancaster County, Pa., to Harold C. Hilton Sr. and Pearl C. Hilton.
Harold married Dorothy Todd on Aug. 25, 1956 in Lititz, Pa., in the Moravian church.
They lived in Pennsylvania until October 1974, when they moved to Sheridan, where they lived for 29 years before moving to the Powell area, where they resided for seven years.
Harold worked as a machinist all his working years. He retired in 1999. Harold loved horses and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sisters, Carol of Manheim, Pa., and Hazel of Christiana, Del.; and nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials to the donor’s choice.
At Harold’s request, no services will be held.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
