Theron Russell “TR” Waln died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at his home in Powell. He was 83.
TR was born in Ten Sleep on Sept. 12, 1927 to Clarence Alvin and Florence Pearl Waln. He had a brother Clarence (Marvin) and two sisters, Thelma and Pauline.
He married Wilma Mae Fales, and together they raised three sons: Terry, Ed and Randy. Theron served in the Navy during World War II, and then farmed east of Powell for many years before starting TR Welding. He was a kind and modest man who worked hard to provide for his family.
He is survived by his three sons, six grandchildren: Kelli, Katie, Molly, Shad, Brandi and Bradley; and four great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery where Theron will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Wilma.
