Sally Ann Ruzick of Powell died Thursday, Sept. 3 at St. Vincent’s Healthcare in Billings after complications from long-term diabetes. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Union Presbyterian Church.

Sally was born in Cody, the daughter of Vernon and Clara Bell Koelmel. She attended local schools and graduated from Powell High School. Following graduation, she attended Eastern Washington University in Bellevue, where she majored in education.

Sally married Robert Ruzick on Sept. 24, 1967 in Powell. The couple raised three sons, Kyle, Jason and Chad.

She enjoyed traveling, and the couple spent 35 years working in the Middle East. During a stay in Saudi Arabia, Sally provided food service for the American forces prior to the 1990 Persian Gulf War.

Sally was known for her generosity, graciousness and charitable work, and she was active in the Eagles for many years.

She enjoyed welcoming family and friends, and her home was always open to them. Sally’s family will remember her love for others, her gracious spirit and her willingness to put others before herself.

Sally’s greatest joy was her family, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Robert; sons Kyle (Shelly), Jason (Nikki) and Chad (Jennifer) Ruzick; brothers, Lyle (Carolyn) and Bill Kremer; sister-in-law Leta Kremer; 12 grandchildren, Cole, Shane, Paytin, Kamryn, Quinn, Courtney, Dillon, Devin, Damen, Austin, Brennon and Cailynn; and numerous relatives in the Powell and Cody area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Don Kremer.

The family requests that donations be sent in lieu of flowers to the Heart Mountain Volunteer Medical Clinic, P.O. Box 1155, Powell WY 82435.
