Kent Leon McIntosh died peacefully at his Casper home Saturday, June 16 after a long struggle with cancer.

He was born April 2, 1936, in Greybull to Abram Fondly McIntosh and Berenice Maxine Koetter.  He married his high school sweetheart, Carolina Burns McIntosh, shortly after high school graduation in Burlington.

Kent (“Papatosh”) lived in Casper for 42 years and was a retired heavy duty mechanic and retired truck driver. He had an associate’s degree in engineering from Casper College, and he attended the University of Wyoming for continued education in engineering.

He enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildress and always loved cars, especially fast ones.

Survivors include his wife Carolina; 12 children, 40 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Herb; nephew Ronnie; one grandson, David McIntosh; a great-granddaughter, Zoe McIntosh; and a great-grandson, Levoi Feyhl.

Funeral services will be at the 7th and Missouri LDS chapel Wednesday, June 20 at 2 p.m. A graveside service will also be held in Burlington Thursday, June 21 at 1 p.m. Bustard’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
