Ruth M. Rhiner of Cody died Saturday, March 13 at West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody at the age of 100.

She was born September 27, 1903, to Harry and Myrtle Close Lovelace in Auburn, Nebr. She was raised in Auburn and attended schools there.

She became an accomplished organist. She liked a full, manual organ and played the organ in the theater for silent movies.

She became a beautician and owned her own beauty shop in a residential hotel in Kansas City, Mo. She met her future husband, John Rhiner, there. They were married Aug. 28, 1935.

They moved from Kansas City to Worland where they lived until 1951. She played the organ for the Episcopal Church in Worland.

In 1961, they moved to Cody where they built their home. Since her husband's retirement in 1967, they have enjoyed fishing, traveling together and entertaining friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, one niece and several nephews and many friends.
