(September 5, 1934 — August 26, 2010)

On August 26, 2010, God called the greatest man that ever lived home. Feliciano “Felix” “Chano” DeLeon, was respected and loved by all. He was a very giving man, and he gave his love the best.

He was born September 5, 1934 in Lyford, Texas, to Reyes and Antonia (Trevino) DeLeon. On August 10, 1954 he married Eustolia Carrizales in Billings, Montana. The couple made their home in Lovell until 1962 when they moved to Madera, California where they lived for the next eleven years. In 1973 they moved to Powell, and they have lived there ever since.

Every single person that passed by while he was sitting on the porch experienced a tiny bit of his love. He waved at each and every person. When he wasn't on the porch, he enjoyed gardening, being a mechanic, taking care of his grandkids, and watching Spanish soap operas with his amazing wife Eustolia.

Feliciano was greatly admired for his hard work. He was a wonderful mechanic, and worked as a Leadman for Georgia Pacific in Lovell for 27 years until his retirement. He also always maintained a gorgeous yard and garden.

Family was a huge part of his life. All of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren loved to visit him. He had a special way of making everyone smile, and he loved his family with all of his heart.

Today, he is smiling down on his six beautiful daughters for staying together and keeping the family strong. The immense love that he distributed throughout his life makes one thing certain, Feliciano DeLeon will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan DeLeon, and Adrian (DeLeon) Vigil.

He is survived by his wife, Eustolia of Powell; daughters and sons-in-law, Silvia (Victor) Cruz of Powell, Estela (Brett) McCoy of Clark, Cristina DeLeon of Powell, Sofia DeLeon of Powell, Monica DeLeon of Casper, and Analisa (Ben) Hine of Powell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jose Angel DeLeon of Powell, and Mary DeLeon of Idaho; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jaunita (Alejandro) Garcia of Texas, Cande Espinoza of Michigan, and Diana (Santiago) Velasquez of Texas; twenty grandchildren; and 23 great-granchildren.

A rosary and visitation took place on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Powell, followed by a Mass of Christian burial on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barbara's. Interment took place immediately after the Mass at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
