Cynthia L. Coorough-Collins, 53, of Cheyenne died Nov. 10, 2014, in Cheyenne.

She was born Dec. 19, 1960, in Powell and attended Powell schools. She graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming.

Cynthia was a wife, mother and artist. She loved her family, her dogs and outings at the family cabin in Glendo. She enjoyed traveling and going to Colorado Rockies games, hosting holiday meals, gardening, watching her sons play sports, going on bike rides, golfing, fishing and walks in the park and around her neighborhood.

Cynthia was a member of First United Methodist Church and was last employed as a math teacher at Burns Junior and Senior High School until she became too ill with ALS to continue.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Clifford F. Collins, whom she married Aug. 16, 1986, in Powell. Her survivors also include two sons, David A. Collins and Tucker H. Collins; parents Robert and Alma Coorough; brother Robert Ned Coorough; sister Mary Calleen Coorough; sisters-in-law Connie (Paul) Wise, Cynthia (Bruce) Wise and Caren Collins (Mike Gerstner); and 14 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
