Isabel Juarez Sandoval died on April 10, 2014, in El Paso, Texas. She was 75.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas.

She married Jesse Sandoval in Billings in 1954. Isabel lived in Powell for many years, worked for the Powell school district while going to school to become a registered nurse. Isabel then worked for the Powell Hospital until she moved with her husband and kids to El Paso, Texas, in 1976. There she continued working as a nurse at Thompson Hospital for 15 years and then at Texas Tech for another 15 years before retiring.

She is remembered by her family as a very kind and giving person who loved her work as an RN. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Isabel was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Sandoval; son Jesse Sandoval Jr.; father Francisco Juarez; mother Dominga Perales Juarez; and twin sister Maria Juarez Flores.

She is survived by her son Raul (Mickey) Sandoval of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Ramon Juarez of Hobbs, N.M., Raul Rodriquez of Hillsboro, Texas, and Joe Juarez of Bennett, Colo.; and sister Frances Sanchez of Mineral Wells, Texas. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews from Lovell, Mary Maldonado, Lydia Cerda, Vicente Garcia, Frank Garcia, Pete Montanez and Angel Montanez.

Cremation has taken place in El Paso, Texas.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lovell. She will be buried alongside her twin sister at the Lovell Cemetery.
