David D. Doan, 70, of Cody, died suddenly on June 1, 2013, at West Park Hospital. He took ill while doing one of his favorite hobbies, performing karaoke.
David was born May 3, 1943, to James and Cora Dunnivan Doan.
David was preceded in death by his parents James A. Doan and Cora B. Doan, sisters Joe Ann Miller, Earla Hamilton and niece Ramonda Hensley.
He leaves behind his boys whom he loved and cherished deeply: David and Patrick; adopted daughter Eva McAdams; his ex-wife Julie Doan; brother Charles M. Doan and wife Connie; sister Alma Comstock; nieces Charlotte Bugna, Donna Mayo, Lori Mayo, Stacy Hensley and Christy Leveritt; nephews Allen Mayo, Michael Miller, Charles Doan, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at the VFW in Cody Thursday, June 6, at 5 p.m. His brother and sister would love to meet his friends.
