Park County Open Lands is putting on the Wild & Scenic Film Festival at the Cody Theatre on Jan. 15. This nationally recognized film festival showcases powerful short films celebrating wild landscapes, working lands, and the people who care for them. This event is free and open to all thanks to the generous sponsorship of Mooncrest Ranch. Tickets can be secured at the door. If you would like to RSVP in advance, email Sengen at sengen@jhlandtrust.org.
The event is 6:30-8:30 p.m., with doors opening an hour before, at the Cody Theatre at 1171 Sheridan Avenue in downtown Cody.
The event will feature a curated lineup of inspiring conservation and outdoor films; an in-person raffle with a spotting scope and tripod generously donated by Sunlight Sports; and one complimentary small popcorn and drink, courtesy of Mooncrest Ranch.
Before the screening, attendees can head to Sunlight Sports for Pint Night beginning at 5 p.m., where 100% of proceeds support Park County Open Lands.
