Wesley Grant Clark, 21, of Byron, died Monday morning, Aug. 22 in a car accident on U.S. 14-A west of Lovell near the Oasis intersection. He was on his way to work in Lovell.
He was born May 26, 1984, in Lovell to Allan and Cindy Clark. He spent all his days living in the Byron community. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 2003. Since high school, he has worked for RL Masonry, Town of Byron, Big Horn Processing and lastly, Bentonite Performance Minerals.
He loved to hunt and fish. His favorite time of year was hunting season — September through December. He was a good worker. He had a good heart and was generous with what he had. He will be remembered for his ready smile and quick wit.
Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Paul and Terri Clark of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Adam and Ranee’ Clark of Lovell, Andy, Carrie, Aaron, Ryan and Sara of the family home; his grandparents, Paul and Marvalene Clark and Wilson and Marie Grant, all of Lovell. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held at the Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Byron Ward Chapel of the LDS Church. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery.
