The Wyoming Tribune Eagle newspaper and the nonpartisan group Braver Angels have teamed up to present a free, virtual panel discussion about the state’s current budget crisis. Titled “How Wyoming’s budget crisis affects YOU,” the event will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The panelists will include: Ashley Harpstreith, executive director of the Wyoming Taxpayers Association; Robert Godby, economics professor at the University of Wyoming; state Rep. Dan Zwonitzer, R-Cheyenne, the former chair of the House Revenue Committee; and state Sen. Troy McKeown, R-Gillette, a freshman lawmaker sponsoring a constitutional amendment that would send all new tax proposals to voters for approval.
Participants will be able to submit their questions for the panelists via the Zoom chat function, and the program will be recorded and archived on the Wyoming Tribune Eagle’s YouTube channel.
