The American Legion Post 26 family (American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, and American Legion Auxiliary) is honoring veterans at Crown Hill Cemetery again this Memorial Day.
Those who would like to volunteer with placing grave flags throughout the cemetery, can join the legion on Thursday, May 21 at 4:30 p.m. Participants will be provided with a map of the cemetery, the veteran names and locations per block, and enough grave flags for each veteran per block.
Organizations, groups, churches, friends and families are encouraged to gather to remember and honor all veterans interred at Crown Hill. Contact Jim Ross at 540-326-1985 or Ruth Ross at 703-881-8813 with any questions.
