(Sept. 15, 1949 - June 12, 2005) Memorial services will be conducted Friday, June 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Powell for Vicky Jo Sanders, 55, of Ralston, who died at her home Sunday, June 12, following a courageous battle with cancer. Vicky was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Cody, the daughter of Robert C. and Jacquelin Kelso. She graduated from Cody High School, attended Northwest College in Powell, and also Weaver Airline Personnel School in Kansas City, Mo. She married Eldon E. Sanders in Powel on Sept. 9, 1970, and resided in Ralston for nearly 30 years prior to her death. She worked at Powell Hospital and for the past 11 years as a receptionist/file clerk for Dr. Charles Jamieson in Cody. She is survived by her husband, Eldon E. Sanders of Ralston; two sons and their wives, Ray and Jeanie Sanders, and Jim and Chris Sanders of Powell; a daughter, Patty Trangsrud and her husband Larry, of Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren; her mother, Jacquelin Kelso of Cody; one brother and his wife, Robert (Skip) and Becky Kelso of Cody; three sisters, Linda Davenport and her husband Richard of Rock Springs; Denise Jolovich of Georgia; and Earline (Janie) Kanholz and her husband Jim of Cody.Vicky was preceded in death by her son, Sam Sanders, and her father, Robert Kelso. Vicky enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiling and four-wheeling, spending time with her family, gardening, and collecting angels. Cremation has taken place. Pastor Clyde Seifert will officiate at memorial services. Memorials may be given to the Hematology Oncology Centers of the Northern Rockies, 1025 9th St., Ste. B, Cody, WY 82414. Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
