In an effort to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect employees, the Powell Tribune’s office is closed to the public.
“Safety is our number one priority,” said Toby Bonner, Tribune co-owner and general manager. “I’d much rather err on the side of caution and look back in a month or so and say we overreacted than look back and see we didn’t do enough.”
During this time, staff will be available via the phone and email.
“The Tribune is committed to bringing our community the news it depends on,” Bonner said.
The Tribune is also encouraging community members to practice social distancing and follow other CDC recommendations, such as washing your hands and limiting large gatherings.
