Wrapping up August the Good Old Boys continued to hit the course, starting with a game of Middle Balls on Aug. 19.

In this game, four man teams throw out the highest and lowest net balls and keep the middle net balls.

First place went to Cas Seago, Thom Seliga, Jim Core and Clark Jeffs with a 145.

Second with a 147 was the team of Dennis McCollum, Stephen Burtoft, Ed Swistak and Dave Frost.

Third went to the quartet of Randy Mair, Curt Dugger, Doug Firth and Don Hardy with a 152.

Fourth place with a score of 158 was the team of Rhett Wolff, Paul Devoss, Lloyd Snyder and Joe Comer.

One deuce was carded by Seliga on hole No. 8.

Dugger and  Burtoft tied for the low net of 70 while Firth and Hardy tied for the low gross at 77.

On Aug. 26, the Good Old Boys continued with a game of Two Best Ball.

In this game, each team uses their best two net balls for their score.

Coming in at 125 was the team of Frost, Seliga, Bob Varian and Mair.

Three strokes behind in second place was the team of Hardy, Bob Mason, Comer and McCollum.

One stroke behind them in third was the team of Terry Lane, Devoss, Snyder and Core.

Two teams tied with 130, with one including Swistak, Ray Nelson, Burtoft with a blind draw of Varian, alongside Jeffs, Larry Hedderman, Jim Tobin and a blind draw of Snyder.

Two deuces were carded, both on hole No. 4, by Hardy and McCollum. 

The low net went to Frost and Lane with a 71, while Frost had the low gross with a 78.
