Stephen Karl Suhr died unexpectedly on Nov. 27, 2021, at the age of 47, in the home he planned to share with his wife, Nicole Suhr, and Carl Wheeler, in Powell.
Stephen was born on June 3, 1974, to Delwyn A. Suhr and Gabby M. Suhr, the oldest of twin boys.
In high school, Stephen excelled in sports, especially wrestling and football. It was during this time he met his first wife, and to that union they were blessed with four children, Taylor Finley, Dylann Finley, Logan Suhr and Morgan Suhr.
Later they divorced and Stephen ventured to Wyoming on a job building steel buildings.
It was during the first two weeks in Wyoming, in 2009, that he met Nicole Wheeler, who would come to be his best friend, soul mate, love of his life, and eventually his wife on Sept. 6, 2015.
Stephen had many talents and worked many trades. The one he loved the most was taking care of disabled adults. He had a very special bond with his clients, and he loved them.
Stephen was a very kindhearted man, who loved spending time with his family, working on cars with his nephews, flying his drones with his kids, nieces, and nephews, and playing with his dog, Boondocks.
Stephen was a man of his word, a loyal friend, and a loving and dedicated father and husband.
Although he was taken from us at such a young age and way too soon, he will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.
Stephen leaves behind the love of his life, Nicole Suhr; his four children, Taylor Finley, Dylann Finley, Morgan Suhr, and Logan Suhr; his parents Delwyn and Gabriel Suhr, his father-in-law and best friend Carl Wheeler; his twin brother Stewart (Lynn Suhr); his mother-in-law Donna Clevenger; his sister-in-law Tiffany Bennett; his brother-in-law Jessi Wheeler; his nephews, Ethan Landers, Ren and Tristen Utter, and Trae Arneson; his nieces, Kaylei and Kiera Bennett, Nichole Arneson, and Brollie Utter.
There are many other relatives and close friends he called family who will miss him dearly.
There will be a celebration of life to celebrate and remember Stephen for anyone who knew or loved him, at 874 Dime Way, in Powell, on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at 5 p.m.
