The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will meet Thursday and Friday in Cody at the Park County Library’s Grizzly Hall. Thursday’s meeting will run from 12:30-5 p.m. with Friday’s action beginning at 10 a.m.
Park County School District No. 6 Superintendent Ray Schulte will provide a presentation to the SBE at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The SBE also will hear reports from board coordinator Thomas Sachse on the Basket of Goods Task Force Report, prepare for the November Joint Education Interim Committee meeting and research possibilities regarding the state accountability system. Additional reports and discussions will cover civics education, a recommendation for the Math Extended Standards, a standards timeline update and possibly Chapter 10 rules for Computer Science standards.
